The DbyD Christmas Countdown
We’re slowly heading towards Christmas and to keep my followers on track, I run the #DbyDCountdown for 100 days….it’ll be starting on September 16th! It’s a lot of fun, so this year I’m looking for more makers to join in and be featured with my giant white numbers. Do you remember them from last year? If not, take a look at the #DbyDCountdown hashtag on facebook or instagram to see how it all came together!
For a 10-day block in the countdown I am going to be featuring 10 other makers. I would really love to feature other small handmade businesses on each of those days. Here are some feedback from last year’s makers: Handmade by Gem and Sally Ann Sews.
I’m asking UK makers to send me their makes (by 24th September) and I will style a photo using my Countdown numbers. I will then send the items back to them in plenty of time for the Christmas rush! On the feature day, I will post the photo and promote them on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter as well as a blog post featuring all 10 makers. They will also use the image and share on their social media platforms and link back to my website or social media profile.
The feature days will be days 59 to 50 so that works out as Saturday 27th October – Monday 5th November.
Do you make something I could include in the Countdown?
It can be a festive decoration or the perfect Christmas gift. Please consider the size of your items- my numbers are giant but not big enough to be photographed with a 6ft wooden Santa! The pair of numbers measure 8” x 10” and I will crop the photo to fit with the rest of the countdown.
